Lisa Lauer is the Founder and owner of Rent A Place Florida. For over 25 years she has been helping people find their new homes.  She started her real estate career in as the exclusive commercial leasing broker for Berman & Sons in downtown Boston, MA successfully leasing office buildings. She then worked in residential leasing for DeWolfe and Company in Cambridge, MA and became a top producing residential sales agent for Ziprealty selling luxury properties in the greater Boston area.  

She is a licensed real estate broker in Florida and  graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree in Man Environment Relations (an urban planning related degree).   After relocating to Florida, she worked for Sotheby’s International Realty as a real estate associate broker for a luxury condominium development at the Douglas Grande in Winter Park, FL.  She has extensive experience in leasing apartments and homes working for several rental companies in the greater Orlando area.

Lisa brings to residential real estate leasing a great deal of experience from the business world as well. She was employed in New York City as a Real Estate Site Access manager responsible for negotiating the rights to place broadband wireless equipment in office buildings.  Being a former flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, she always has a smile on her face, ready for any challenge!
